Foundations of Jewelry Making

In a small and relaxed group class, you'll learn:

  • How to make basic loops with wire to connect components for earrings, pendants, and necklaces.

  • How to string and clasp jewelry using beading wire and crimp beads.

  • How to string jewelry on silk thread and clasp using bead tips.

You'll take home:

  • A necklace.

  • Two pairs of earrings.

  • A one-time use 20% discount on full-priced merchandise, valid for 1 month.

  • A written handout covering the techniques you learned in class.

  • The know-how to design and repair your own jewelry!

All materials are included. The tools you use during the class are loaned, but you can purchase them at a 20% discount.

* Class is for ages 12 and up.

* Bring any glasses or other visual aids that you need in order to work with small materials.

* We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to get settled and start choosing your beads!

* If you cannot make the date you booked, you can call or email to reschedule at no charge.

 * So as to not compromise you or your classmates' learning experience, if you are 15+ minutes late, you will be asked to reschedule (at no charge).
